Apparently, I need to post...
... Or so Hockey-girl tells me... and the Witch.... so here I go... Ontario is not like the valley... you see, the valley does not really have 'weather'... for all intents and purposes, the valley plugs along at its normal mild self for the majority of the year... even when it snows, it doesn't truly snow in the Canadian sense... maybe in the Persian sense, but the only Persian I know spent a great deal of her life in Nebraska, so I suspect that its mild compared to that... but Ottawa and the swamps have "WEATHER"... when it snows, it snows, Planes stop, government grinds to a halt, there would be chaos in the streets if it wasn't too cold to go outside... luckily, where canadians and we can handle that... when it gets hot, its like you walked into some equatorial wonderland, with misquitoes as big as your arm, and other strange and wonderful bugs that bit at you... this is the sort of semi-tropical heat that they never talk about in the United States; I think Americans live under the impression that Canada is cold in the winter, ergo the summers must be cold... this couldn't be farther from the truth... so for the past four days or so, it was hot... then god changed his mind, and one night rain broke out... the valley doesn't really get 'rain' cause of the mountains... the western coast gets most of the rain... but in Ottawa, it rains like there is no tommorow... and Lightning...In other news, a grave and horrifying beast as struck at wendies... Racoons... everyone fears them, few are willing to brave the dumpster except for grill guys (more on this, see the trekie website). There seem to be very few large predators in the valley, being probably replaced by man, so raccoons seem to elict the same reaction as a bear or a mountain lion wandering into town back in BC. Strange... Very Strange...
Anywho, thats all for now...
BEHOLD, THIS ENTRY IS OVER, SO SAYS I, KING OF MAUVE, LORD OF CYAN, DUKE OF TEAL
